The most effective way that I communicate with my boss is through e-mail. My boss has
chosen this way to communicate with her employees because it cuts down on misunderstandings
that can occur in the workplace. I also believe that she finds it a get way to keep track of the
conversation with an employee. For example, I requested to be off for three days and I e-mailed
her the time off request and also sent another e-mail stating the days that I was requesting off.
I chose to do this because when those days come up she will be aware and she was also ale to
easily put them in her calendar. We have not always communicated with the boss this way
we would use to have to fill out paper request for days off and they would always get lost and
misplaced. She also has us call her and request days off but she was getting so many calls and
was unable to keep up with everyone’s request.
