The Turing Test

The Turing Test

Defeating a computer in a Turing Test would be easy. One of the main reasons why is because computers are inanimate objects that have to be programmed by humans. There are many questions that one could ask a computer during a Turing Test. For example, a great question to ask a computer would be, “Are you capable of feeling emotions?” Another great question to ask a computer would be, “Are you capable of learning new information on your own?” And finally, another great question to ask a computer during a Turing test would be, “Do you feel pain?” These types of questions would reveal a computer be to be a computer because these feelings are uniquely human, and only human beings are able to learn and process new information on their own. These responses would have to be given by a human being because we are the only species that exist on earth that is able to question such things.
